Botox functions as an inhibitor. The treatment prevents facial muscles from crinkling up and making your face wrinkle or sag. With proper use Botox can reduce wrinkles, crow's feet, frown lines, and even a gummy smile. Botox is not permanent and can be continued every 3-6 months, as needed, to keep the clock turned back. It is as close as we have gotten to the fountain of youth. Plus, it is effective on both fine lines and deep wrinkles with no downtime. You can go straight to work after your injections with no issues!

Do you find yourself clenching or grinding your teeth during the day or at night? Did you know Botox is a treatment that can help relieve the discomfort from clenching and grinding? Clenching and grinding stem from the contraction of a large cheek muscle called the masseter muscle. By injecting Botox into the masseter muscle, it will allow the muscle to relax and not contract as strongly. This treatment is non-invasive and involves one injection on each side of the face and the results can last anywhere from 3-6 months on average.

Many of our patients have greatly benefited from this treatment, not only in the relief from clenching and grinding but also in protection of tooth structure. If you believe you might fit into the category or could benefit from this treatment, give us a call and let us help you!
Dermal fillers are injections which add fullness to parts of your face that have thinned because of the natural aging process, excess sun exposure, or lifestyle factors. Common areas for injections are the cheeks, lips, under the eyes, and around the mouth. Dermal fillers are also highly effective for those who want to improve the appearance of any facial scarring.

Some people refer to this treatment as a “liquid facelift” because it is so effective and can really transform your overall look, but in a totally natural and subtle way. It just takes a few years off your face.  We administer dermal filler injections quickly for amazing results that don’t require expensive surgery or healing process.  You end up being a younger, recognizable version of YOU!
Most people have heard that dull or yellow teeth can be caused by smoking, drinking coffee and/or tea and red wine. What if you have a dull or yellowed smile and do not fall into the category or smoking or drinking staining beverages?  The culprit is most likely part of the natural aging process.

Aging can cause tooth enamel to thin which allows the color the interior of the tooth, dentin, to show through.  Dentin, the inner surface of the tooth, contains a yellowish pulp.  As enamel thins, the interior will show through a more transparent, thin enamel surface.  This does not mean your teeth are necessarily unhealthy, yellow teeth can make a person look older and create an unhealthy appearance.

If you’re unhappy with the current brightness level of your teeth because of stains, yellowing or dullness, let us help. Our professional solutions far exceed any whitening product found online or on the local store shelves, providing shade improvements in as little as one appointment.
During a consult, the patient and Dr. Allen will discuss what they like about their appearance and their wish list of what they would like to change.  We always ask our patients what they would like to accomplish with cosmetic treatment of Botox and or filler.

We usually take a series of before photos.  Once the patient shares their goals Dr. A performs an exam and shares what it could take to achieve their goal.  During the consult patients have an opportunity to ask questions and get answers specific to their needs.  If they want to proceed, we will do treatment the same day!

We are so grateful to have patients that trust us to care for their dental health which improves overall health.  Your care is our passion!  We want everyone to have the beautiful, healthy smile you deserve.
